Letters to a friend _ Remediation Strategies
Dear friend(s),
Clean water is a major issue. Access to clean water is needed everywhere. There are many traditional ways to get this water, though they aren't necessarily very quick and tend to be cumbersome. We need to look at this problem in a way that cannot be solved with capitalism. Collective action is what is needed.
Simple solution: create new rain. And we create this new rain as we clean up the pollution.
Sounds blasphemous, doesn't it? Supernatural even, but alas it is science.
We can create new rain with aerial irrigation methods. let's talk about it. We'll go through some steps and suggested strategies.
Decommission all hydrocarbon transport, distribution, and production facilities. Clean em up.
In place of hydrocarbon infrastructure, we will build out clean water systems.
No more burning to make energy. All energy needed can be provided without combustion. Yes, there are many methods for producing electricity that doesn't require any burning to create Kinetic Energy. Just gotta spin turbines, we know how to do this.
With the decommissioned tankers, we can retrofit and build floating water treatment and power plants. Floating water treatment/power plants will allow us to target the dirtiest and most dead water first. Clean it up. Clean it all up.
With these power plants, we can take the clean water, mechanical agitate to an aerosol state, and fire water vapor up into the wind stream. The water molecules will bond with pollution in the sky, which will cause it to create rain drops. new rain. The pollution picked up by the rain may require additional cleaning for many years. There is a lot of pollution to clean up.
